The word continent was derived from the Latin word “terra continens,” which means connected or continuous land. There are seven continents in the word this includes Africa, Asia, Australia, Antarctica, South America, North America, and Europe while a country consists of states, towns, city, and villages where is no limited number to the amount of village, town, city or state a country wants to have.
The continent is the separation in geographical boundaries while a country is separated geographically, politically, and culturally. A continent does not have a ruler or any government body while a country has a leader, and it chooses its government system. A continent does not depend on people or other continents, but countries depend on other countries for trade and support.
