Well, both are wifi devices but the modem is made for laptops and personal use they need to get into your pc and they are mobile .

the router is not mobile able we need a cable connection for it and it basically uses for more than 10 people.

With wireless systems, you can connect on a Local Area Network, a vast area network, and the internet minus the actual connection of wires like UTP cables. A wireless modem is a device that can connect to a wireless network as supplied by an ISP.

When you connect to a wireless modem, you are granted access to the internet when your ISP signal is present. WiFi routers, on the contrary, are devices that perform the same functions as a normal router, only it is done wirelessly.

When information is delivered from one network to another, routers supervise the activity and guide the data packets to the appropriate location utilizing the best way to go. With wireless features, WiFi routers can carry out the necessary functions through radio signals alone.

A lot of people mistake a Wi-Fi router for a modem, which shows the possibility of some differences between the two devices. For instance, both are similar in that they transfer data packets, usually from a source to another destination. Most Wi-Fi modem and routers come in similar designs. However, one of the differences between a Wi-Fi modem and a router is that a Wi-Fi modem allows you to connect to the internet, whereas a Wi-Fi router allows the connection to be shared by different devices. This means a Wi-Fi modem is just serving as the gateway for your device to connect to the internet. A Wi-Fi router is a device that allows more devices to get connected to the internet with a single connection. A Wi-Fi modem works by modulating and demodulating signals from your ISP to your devices. A router, on the other hand, helps to distribute the Internet connection from the modem to multiple devices.

WIFI modem and WIFI router are both wireless devices that allow users to connect to the internet and other available networks. Wi-Fi modems are devices that can easily connect to any available wireless networks once an ISP is available. By connecting your Wi-Fi modem to your computer, you can access the Internet once there is a signal from your ISP. Wi-Fi modems work by modulating analog carrier signals so they can encode digital information. Wi-Fi modems can also demodulate the analog carrier signals to decode the transmitted information. On the other hand, Wi-Fi routers are not different from the regular routers, just that Wi-Fi routers work wirelessly. Wi-Fi routers work by connecting different networks to form a larger network or Internet. For instance, you can use Wi-Fi routers to connect LAN and WAN. You can also use Wi-Fi routers to forward data packets through these networks. Wi-Fi modems will allow your mobile devices to accept a radio signal. On the contrary, Wi-Fi routers will help you connect your computer to any available network.

There are different items that would be used so that you can become connected to the internet. When you say modem, this is a sort of box that will be used so that your home network can become connected to the internet. When you say router, you are referring to the type of item that will be used so that people can become connected in a wired and wireless way. There are different wireless routers that are available but when you say modem, you need to have something that is connected to your wireless provider. Without the modem, you will be unable to connect to the internet.

The main difference between the two is how they would be used. A WiFi modem will allow you to connect to the internet while the router will allow you to distribute the connection that comes from the modem to the various devices that you are allowing to connect to the internet.

The main difference between the two is how they would be used. A WiFi modem will allow you to
This means that the modem will be your gateway in order to go online, but the WiFi router will act as the central hub that you are going to use for the devices that you have right now. There are times when the quality of these devices that you will get will determine how fast your internet connection is going to be, so make sure that you would choose wisely.
