The human skeleton can be divided into two groups. These two groups are appendicular and axis. For the appendicular skeleton, this will include the bones that can be found in the upper and lower limbs. This will also include the pelvic girdles and shoulder area. The axial skeleton will have all of the bones that can be found on the long axis. One example of the axial skeleton is the cranium.

The other parts of this type of skeleton are the ribcage, sternum, and spine. The bones that are part of the appendicular skeleton are in charge of grasping different objects and making sure that different objects are manipulated. The axial skeleton will protect different major organs of the body.

The body's skeletal system is split into two groups. The first is the appendicular skeleton. This group of skeletons is made up of bones that create the lower and upper limbs. It also includes the pelvic girdles and shoulder girdles. For those that may not know, the girdles are how the limbs attach to one another.

The second skeletal group is the axial skeletal group. It is made up of many different types of bones. One part of the body it includes is the bones that are along the body's axis. It provides support to the body, while the appendicular skeleton is what allows people to properly move.

Both the axial and the appendicular skeleton are divisions of the human skeletal system. The axial skeleton consists of the bones which form the longitudinal axis of the human body while the appendicular is comprised of bones of the girdles and limbs.

The axial skeleton consists of the vertebral column, the skull, and the bony thorax. Skull is basically formed by the cranial and facial bones. There are eight cranial bones that serve the purpose of rendering protection to the brain. The vertebral column is actually formed from a number of vertebrae, which is twenty-four, and there are seven cervical vertebrae, twelve thoracics, and five lumbar vertebrae. The shoulder girdle is consists of two bones, which are the scapular and clavicle, which attach the upper limbs to the axial skeleton. The upper limbs' bones are the arm humerus, the ulna of the forearm, carpals and metacarpals, the radius, and the hand phalanges.

The skeletal system of the body is divided into two groups namely the appendicular skeleton and the axial skeleton. When you say appendicular skeletal group, this is composed of the bones that will form the upper and lower limbs. It will also include the shoulder girdles and the pelvic girdles.

If in case you are not familiar with what girdles are, they are known to be the attachment point of the limbs. The axial skeletal group will be composed of a different set of bones. This will include all of the bones that will be along the long axis of the body. The appendicular skeleton will be in charge of allowing people to move properly. The function of the axial skeleton is to provide the support and protection that the body needs.
