Dogs are known as a man's best friend, but for some, the decision on what type of dog to get can be a hard one. There are many types of dog breeds and two of those include American and English Bulldogs. One of the key differences between the two is the origin of each dog.

English Bulldogs come from Britain. American bulldogs come from America. Despite the difference in their origin, there is not much other difference between them because they have a similar appearance. This is why it can be hard to tell the difference between the two if you did not know their origin.

There are some dog owners who cannot help but become confused between the English and the American bulldog. One of the main differences between the two is from where they have originated. The English Bulldog obviously originated from the British Isles.

The American Bulldog has stemmed from America. A lot of people say that aside from their names, there is not much difference to these dog breeds because the dogs generally look the same.

The only difference is how people would choose to name the breed of their dog. Some are saying that some British Bulldogs tend to be more muscular as compared to English bulldogs.
