Every human being is born with certain rights, and human rights is a very complex and exciting concept in the fact that there are things that are unspoken about them. For example, every person has the right to live. People are also believed to have free will, which could be both a right and freedom. With all the riots these days, it is imperative that we never forget the essential leaders who helped African Americans obtain rights in a climate of discrimination and racism.
When someone gets caught committing a crime, and they are arrested, they have the right to an attorney. Freedom, on the other hand, is a person’s right to live their life by their own accord, with no interference from anyone else. Someone who gets out of jail is free from the confinement of the cell in which they were. Freedom is also given to someone who just passed their driver’s test, and they earn the right to drive of their own volition. There is the right to vote and freedom of speech to be able to speak your mind about politics. Freedom means no interference from the government, while a right is to question and demand more from our political leaders.
