A lot of people would like to become aware of what pride month is, but they usually do not know where to begin. Now is the time that you should learn more about it. Pride Month is usually being celebrated for the LGBTQ community.

This is composed of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer. Lately, there is a plus sign that is added at the end of the acronym to also remember those that can be considered as a part of the LGBTQ community.

The main reason why people would like to celebrate this is they want to show that the LGBTQ community also has some contribution to the world. It seems that some people think that the LGBTQ community has done nothing, and pride month is supposed to show that this isn’t true.

Pride month is a time in the month of June set aside to celebrate the LGBTQ in our society, as the name implies it is a time to feel good or worthy for what you believe in or what you are.

The pride month is an eventful week in June, where we create awareness or remembrance that the LGBTQ people in our society are like every other person in the society. The pride month is also a time to celebrate those that have been lost to hate crimes or diseases.

The month is also a commemorative month, use to recognize the impact Gay, lesbians, bisexual and transgender people have played in the society.

Every month of June, millions around the world celebrate Pride month. This month is used to celebrate the LGBTQ community. The celebration for this community had been around for decades, but was not formally recognized until 1999, when President Bill Clinton acknowledged the month of June as one for the gay community.

Through parades and festivals, Pride month is used to promote and bring awareness to the LGBTQ community, as well as celebrate the progress that has been made to give them the equality they deserve. It is called pride to show that the community is not ashamed of who they are.
