There are various LGBT awareness periods that are being celebrated throughout the year. Still, there are a lot of people who usually celebrate pride for the whole month of June. There are many pride events that are happening all over the world because this is the time when people feel that they can showcase their pride and their true selves.

The official pride day is said to be June 28, 2020. This is why before the pandemic, there are a lot of pride marches that have occurred on this date. There are also other dates wherein different awareness periods are also being celebrated. For example, National Coming Out Day is celebrated every October 11.

The Day of the pride month was originally celebrated on the last day of June; it is celebrated in June because the Stonewall riot took place in June 1969. However, the LGBT pride month date is now flexible; it is now celebrated on different days in June.

The pride day is not only to create awareness for LGBTQ but also to create awareness and correct wrong issues in the community. The pride month celebration is a long celebration with a lot of events such as street parties, public speaking, community events, festivals, commemorates, rallies, picnic, parades and marches, poverty reading, educational sessions, and all other interesting and life impactful events.

There are many days throughout the year that celebrate the gay community, but there is only one month that the community has. Pride month is during the month of June. All 30 days of the month are used to celebrate Pride month. The month of June is used as a way to recognize the LGBTQ community, as well as a way to educate people on the community.

Throughout the month, the world celebrates the LGBTQ community through parades, festivals, and parties. Along with that, businesses show their solidarity with the community and change their logos to the pride flag, as well as offer certain promotions.
