Christianity is one of the oldest religions in the world, and the largest religion at the moment, while Sikhism is a newer religion compared to Christianity. While both belief in the existence of one God, the only way to differentiate them is by comparing certain practices of the two. Christianity preaches that one can only attain salvation by believing in Jesus Christ and in everything He represents.

Sikhism preaches that one can only attain salvation by worshiping God with a pure mind, by doing good deeds, and by fighting the five evils i.e., lust, greed, attachment, ego, anger, and also by praying.

Christianity is a religion that is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ, while Sikhism is based on the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Although Christianity also believes in monotheism; however, the concept of the Trinity i.e., God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is something Sikhism does not believe in.

There are many religions around the world that are practiced. Two of those religions are Sikhism and Christianity. Sikhism is an Indian religion, while Christianity is more of a universal religion. They are both monolithic religions, which means believing in one God. Both religions have teachings, but their teachings are based off two different things.

The teachings of Sikhism are based off the ten Gurus by Guru Granth Sahib. The teachings of Christianity are based off the life of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God. Between the two, Christianity is the largest religion in the world. Sikhism is still in the top ten, being the fifth largest religion.

Sikhism is a monotheistic religion that is based on the various teachings of Guru Nanak Dev. This also includes the teachings of nine other teachers after Guru Nanak Dev. Christianity, on the other hand, is a religion that is based on the teachings and precepts of Jesus Christ. The Holy book used by Sikhs is Guru Granth Sahib. In contrast, the Holy book used by Christians is the Holy Bible.

Christians believe Jesus Christ is a son of the God, and in the concept of Trinity, He is believed to be the same as God. In contrast, Sikhism preaches that God is timeless, ageless and shapeless. Guru Nanak Dev was born and died just like other human beings, but Jesus Christ, though he was crucified, He resurrected on the third day.

Christianity is arguably the number one religion with the highest number of followers, while Sikhism is the fifth largest religion in the world.
