The main difference between the Christian Bible and the Catholic Bible is that some books in the Catholic Bible are absent in the Christian Bible. It is believed that both the Christian Bible and the Catholic Bible were formed from the Septuagint, i.e. “the first Greek translation of the Jewish scriptures.”
However, most of the books that are contained in the Septuagint are also part of the Christian Bible, but the Christian Church decided not to include some books that were considered as revisions in their Bible. These revisions were done by some Jewish rabbis.
On the other hand, the Catholic Bible contains almost all of these best books, despite the fact these Jewish scriptures were considered inappropriate by the Christian Church. Some of the books that are present in the Catholic Bible are stories of Susanna, Baruch, Tobit, Judith. As a result, the Catholic Bible contains more books than the Christian Bible.
