It can be confusing to know the difference between the two, since most people assume that they are the same. GT comes with a single slot cooler, which means that it will not use as much power as compared to the GTS.

Another difference is the type of features that you will get when you use the GT. GT will come with a PureVideo HD VP2 engine that the GTS will not have. Another difference is the graphics card that will be used. GT will make use of 7 out of the 8 clusters that are available out of the 16 stream processors that are used.

NVIDIA is a company that creates graphic cards. GTS and GT are two of the cards that they offer. One of the key differences between them is the memory that each has. Between the two, GT has a higher memory interface. Its interface is 256-bit, while GTS has an interface of 32 bit.

Along with the interface, they differ in the size memory that each one comes with. GTS comes with two different size memories. These are 320 MB and 640 MB. GT comes with one memory size, which is 512MB. Another difference is that GTS has two slots for cooling. GT has one.

NVIDIA GTS and GT are two types of graphics cards from NVIDIA. Although both support and include the same GPU, there are still some differences between the two. One of the obvious differences between NVIDIA GTS and GT is that the former comes with a double slot cooler, whereas the latter comes with a single slot cooler. As a result, the GTS uses more power compared to the GT.

Another difference is that NVIDIA GT comes with more additional features than the GTS. For instance, the GT is equipped with PureVideo HD VP2, whereas this feature is absent in the GTS. Although GTS uses a very similar GPU as the GT, the GT has a more sophisticated GPU, largely due to the presence of PureVideo HD VP2. Unlike the GTS that comes with a 90 nm G80 core, the GT comes with a 65 nm G92 core. However, the GT is believed to have newer models with a 55 nm core.

NVIDIA is a technology company that makes graphics cards, which are normally a constant feature of computer games; they are responsible for increasing the quality of the gaming visual appearance on a computer screen.

Nvidia GT cards are basically made for everyday casual use, and some light-medium gaming such as Half-Life 2, Far Cry 1 & 2, Need for Speed: Underground 2 and so on, and perhaps basic video editing such as in Sony Vegas Pro 10 when making a “Let’s play” video. They are not really meant for high-end gaming, as it will have a hard time handling GTA V.

Nvidia GTX cards, on the other hand, can handle more complex stuff because they're meant for more professional use, geared towards medium to high-end gaming, especially the GTX 1080, and very complicated works such as video editing in 4K resolution, with a lot of compositing, effects, and similar things. Not to mention rendering full 3D animated movies. Nvidia GTX cards will effortlessly handle GTA V.

One of the major differences between NVIDIA GTS and GT is the memory interface of the two. The GTS comes with a memory interface of 32-bit, whereas the GT comes with a higher memory interface of 256-bit. The memory size of the two is another differentiating feature. The GTS comes in two different memory sizes of 320 MB and 640 MB, while the GT comes with a memory size of 512MB.

The GTS provides double slots for cooling, whereas the GT provides a single slot for cooling. The effect of this on the power consumption capacity of the two is that GT uses less power, while the GTS uses more power. There are some features that are present in GT which are absent in the GTS.

A perfect example of this is the Pure-Video HD VP2 of the GT. This makes the GT to have a better GPU compared to the GTS. With the current functionalities of the GT, its future models will offer more sophisticated GPU.
