With the pandemic, many people are picking up hobbies such as knitting. Weft and Warp are two of the components of knitting. They are how a person turns the yarn so that they can create the fabric. One of the key differences between these two components is the type of yarn that can be used with each one.

If using the warping technique, it is better to use a yarn that is stronger. When using the weft technique, a person is able to use yarn that may not be as strong. Another difference between the two techniques is that warp will use more yarn than the weft technique will use.

If you have always loved knitting then you will have no problems with defining weft and warp. These are known to be two of the components that will be used in order to turn yarn or thread that would need to be used to create fabric.

Warp is known to be longitudinal yarns or lengthwise. Welp, on the other hand, is better known as the transverse yarns. Usually, it is the welp that will be placed under the warp to ensure that the fabric will be strong enough and they will not tear easily.

The type of yarn or thread that will be used can determine how strong the fabric that will be made will be.
