With the pandemic, many people are learning about remote technology because it is allowing them to work from home. Two aspects of technology that allow people to work from home are VPN and Citrix. VPN stands for the virtual private network.
It allows a person to connect to their company's login with a specific user name and password that is assigned to them. Citrix goes deeper than that because it allows users to see their desktop by logging into the Citrix database. It acts as a virtual desktop, where the personal computer that they log in on will mirror their work desktop.
VPN is known to be a smaller private network that is usually on top of an even bigger network. Citrix, on the other hand, is known to be one of the available companies that can provide VPN services. There are various things that they can offer.
VPN is known to offer file-sharing services while Citrix will be able to provide something that is more than that. Citrix will be able to provide an application delivery and also virtualization.
If you would like to work with large files or you know that you need to do a lot of things, Citrix is probably going to be the better option available for you.
