When it comes to space, some countries have their own agencies. These agencies study aspects of space and hope to make new discoveries. A person that works with the agency will have a title. For those that work with the United States space agency NASA, they are called an astronaut.
To become an astronaut, it is best that the person has a detailed study of space, but it is not necessary, for NASA will train the person before they can become one. If a person is working with the Russian Space Agency, they are called a cosmonaut. Like an astronaut, cosmonauts also work in space, but they work on behalf of Russia.
There are a lot of people who dream about becoming astronauts or cosmonauts because these seem to be like cool jobs. Some people were able to live this dream even if they know the possible consequences of having these jobs. An astronaut is someone who has been trained by NASA in order to work in space.
There are various training sessions that a person has to do before this can become possible. A cosmonaut is someone who has been trained by the Russian Space Agency.
Once again, the main goal of the cosmonaut is to have the ability to work in space. It is a known fact that there is always a sort of competition between Russia and the USA when it comes to space expeditions.
