Cancer is a disease that affects everyone one way or another. A person can be affected because they have the disease themselves, or a person can be affected because they have a friend or family member that has the disease.
There are a number of cancers that a person can have, and two of them are lymphoma and leukemia. One of the key differences between these types of cancers is where cancer starts. The cancer of lymphoma will start in the lymph nodes, whereas the cancer of leukemia will start in the blood, as well as the bone marrow.
A lot of people are confused between lymphoma and leukemia. Lymphomas are also known to be a type of cancer that can start in those cells similarly. The main difference is that when a person has leukemia, cancer will usually start in the bone marrow and the blood.
This will be a bit different from someone who has lymphoma0; wherein cancer will normally start in the lymph nodes. There are also times when the lymphoma will also start in the other tissues that surround the lymph nodes.
Take note that both types of cancer are considered to be hard to treat, although there are available treatments that will hopefully improve the condition of the affected person.
