A Girl and a Woman are both terms that we can use to describe a female human. They are of the same gender, the main difference between this two is, that a woman is a developed or grown version of a girl.
The word girl has been around since the 11th century, which comes from the Anglo- Saxon word “gerle” or “gerela” which means dress, while a woman comes from an Old English word ‘wifman” which was derived from “wif” (female, wife) and “man” (human being).
A woman is an adult that is allowed to make decisions by herself and takes responsibility for those actions while a girl depends on her parents or guardians to make decisions for them.
A woman is a girl that has grown based on the experience she had and things she had to learn and relearn, building her confidence, knowing her strength and weakness.
