The .45 caliber MAC 10 weighs 6.26 pounds when empty, and shoots 1,145 rounds per minute. The most successful firing range is 50 meters, and the muzzle rapidity is 280 feet per second. The .380 caliber MAC 11 weighs in at only 3.5 pounds, fires 1,200 rounds per minute, and has a muzzle speed of 980 feet per second.
The .45 round is far more powerful than the .380, the M10 also weighs twice as much and has a slower muzzle velocity. M11 is much lighter than the M10. This lightness is because it is built with a thinner gauge of sheet metal. The weight and size of the M11 make a big difference when trying to hide it. M11 and M10 also use different magazines.
M10 only uses steel magazines, and if you purchase the MAC 11, you get a Zytel mag or steel one. OF the MAC models, M11 is the most common. It also costs just about half as much as what the M10 does.
