TV series are relatively lengthier and episodic but in a movie you get to know the entire story all at once (or in parts which takes time to release)

Movies and TV series captures the attention of people and are both popular. Movies and TV series are usually used interchangeably by people who don’t know the difference.

A movie can also be called a creative concept. A movie usually talks about different things and are creative, it may run for two to three hours. When it comes to notoriety, movies have a fewer audience than TV series. The format for shooting movies is 70mm. When it comes to the cost of production movies are cheaper than TV series.

A TV series can also be called soap operas. A TV series not does have a schedule. It can be very long and boring. While watching a TV series, it is possible to come across advertisements in between. To produce a TV series the cost of production is high. The format for shooting a TV series is 35mm.

The TV series is a program that is presented every week, and the episodes can run thirty minutes to one hour. They film several episodes and are either presented yearly or semiannually. There are a limited number of episodes, and the season usually ends with a “cliff hanger” episode to make the observer come back in the fall or the summer to see what happens.

A movie or motion picture tells a story, and it is not a weekly short program. The average movie runs about 90 to 120 minutes, and it allows the characters to develop during that time frame. The film also has a beginning and ending, is shown in a movie theater or can be watched on your home TV.

Both movies and television have a rich history, and each has its appeal. Movies were here before the television came on the scene, and they were silent; the sound came later.

There are various types of entertainment that a person can watch for their viewing pleasure. Two of those ways are TV shows and movies. Both are ways to tell stories with characters portrayed by actors. Movies are long-form entertainment. They can range from two to three hours long and can be watched in one sitting. TV shows are short-form and split between various episodes. A TV show episode can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour-long. They are unable to be watched in one sitting. TV shows can last for years, while a movie is more than often a one-time thing
