Apple’s iPad mini two and mini 4 are older generation iPad models. The mini 2, which is formally named the iPad mini 2 launched in 2013, while the iPad 4 was launched in 2015. The iPad mini 4 is similar in many ways, but the mini 4 is an upgrade, so naturally, it is a step or two above iPad mini 2 when it comes to performance and quality.
There have been small adjustments made to demonstrate the improvement, such as its size. The mini four is thinner and lighter, and therefore more portable than the mini 2. The mini 4 is 0.65 lbs, 8.0 inches tall, while the mini 2 is 0.73 lbs and 7.87 inches tall. The mini 2 and 4 use retia display with 326 PPI resolution of 2048 by 153 pixels. Consequently, Apple halted the distribution of the iPad mini 2 in 2017.
