The terms Alpha and Omega are very closely associated with the Christian faith. You can find these words all through the Christian scriptures and teachings. Alpha signifies the beginning, while Omega signifies the end. Alpha has a value of 1 in the Greek numeral system. Alpha bears the symbol that is similar to A in the English alphabet.

Omega is the 24th and final letter that has a value of 80. Alpha and Omega are riddled throughout the New Testament Bible. In the word, the true meaning of Alpha and Omega are the beginning and the end, which is the personification of God’s eternal love for us.

Most Christian denominations believe this represents Jesus and God, as they are one. Alpha also refers to the canine leader in a pack of dogs. Omega can also be useful as the SI unit for electrical resistance, angular velocity in a circular motion, density parameter in astronomy.
