Samsung’s HDTV line up is series 7 and series 8 models, and these models have the best features, and they are quite popular. The most noticeable difference is in the contrast levels, and there is a degree in separation between black and white color.

Series 8 models have better contrast levels as it’s contrast ratios, as well as better images, especially in dark scenes. It can display colors that are much closer to the black you see with the screen turned off. Series 7 models are not as clear as Series 8; however, there is a higher refresh rate on the Series 7 model. Both Series 7 and Series 8 models are equipped with Automation Plus. Models that possess this technology can choose the picture screen much faster than a traditional display.

TV's are getting clearer, faster, and smarter. The TVs that Samsung offers are no different. Samsung TV's are one of the higher end brands that are offered. They have many series that they have released, including the 8 series and the 7 series.

One of the differences between these two series is that Series 8 has an improved viewing contrast. It shows darker images better than the 7 series does. Another difference between them is in regards to the HZ. Series 8 has a higher HZ with 240, while series 7 has an HZ of 120. Series 8 also includes a feature called Auto Motion Plus.
