An 88-keyboard piano has 7 1/3 octaves, which makes it similar to an acoustic piano. This type of keyboard is used by expert pianists who usually play classical or sophisticated music. An 88 key piano has the octaves that a pianist requires with both the bass and treble keys being present. This type of keyboard is pricey and, therefore, you might need to ponder whether he or she needs the maximum use of it, for a beginner who wants to become a professional pianist.

In this instance, an 88-keyboard piano would be the best instrument to practice. A 76 key piano are those found on the left-most part and the rightmost parts of the 88 keyboards and never plays keys in the middle. Most people are not aware of which keys are missing with this type of keyboard.

Seventy-six keys piano is best for playing rhythm and blues, pop, rock, soft rock, and ballad songs, which makes it the right keyboard for those who do not aspire to play professionally, but they want to play for fun.
