The Apple iCloud is a storage space service that replaced MobileMe, and it is free up to 5 GB. It is integrated into Apple software, and it is a convenient cloud storage option, that would be if you use Apple products.
You can store your photos, contacts, letters and you can connect your whole family to the cloud if they all have Apple devices this would be ten people with your sign-in info. Dropbox is also a cloud-based program where you can store photos and files.
You can also share through e-mail, chat, or any communication program. Multiple users can not use the same drop box; they must have their own user name and password.
Whether for work or school, our files are important to us, and it is vital that we are able to have them saved. Long gone are the days where information is saved on a floppy disk or a flash drive. They are now stored in the cloud. Two ways that information can be stored is through iCloud and a dropbox.
iCloud is for Apple users. It provides a free option, which is up to 5G. From there, a user can only get up to 2TB. Dropbox is an independent company. They do not offer any free option, and they have no size restrictions.
