If in case you are not familiar with what these items are, you should know that these are file systems. Fat 232 comes with a maximum drive of 2 TB. NTFS stands for NT File System. This is a type of journaling file system that has been created by Microsoft. This is actually the default system that is being used by Windows right now.

NTFS is known to be effective in organizing data while FAT 232 is a file system that will allow you to store different files. Take note that if there are certain files that would need to be transferred from FAT 232 to another type of FAT or file system, there is a need for the files to be formatted so that this can be properly done.

Fat32 or File Allocation System 32 was developed by Marc McDonald and Bill Gates. The older creation of File Allocation system was created to be used by hard disks with capacities equal or less than 4GB. This means Fat32 was created to improve on all the shortcomings of its predecessors. NTFS was created by Microsoft, though it contains certain features that can be found in the HPFS file system. Although NTFS was initially meant to be used by Windows systems, this file system is now being on some operating systems like Linux.

Fat32 or File Allocation System 32 was developed by Marc McDonald and Bill Gates. The older
NTFS seems to be a better choice since it has more functionalities compared to Fat32. This is because Fat32 works only by monitoring or recording where files are located, and nothing more. In contrast, NTFS has more features that help to improve the performance of the file system, plus it also comes with security. Another important feature of NTFS is its ability to compress files, most especially when they are being written to the disks.
