Aid is the transfer of resources or funds from one country to another to benefit the country that procures it. Aid may be in different forms like International aid. Foreign aid or Oversees aid. Aid may be provided from one country to another for specific purposes. The most common is disaster relief. Aid can also be given to strengthening a country’s military, creating cultural aspects, building a stable economic situation, and many other things.

Not only can countries provide aid to other countries, private organizations, and individuals also give it. A grant, on the other hand, is funds given out by one group or another. Generally, government departments, trusts, foundations, and corporations are the groups that fund grants. The primary purpose of grants is to supplement educational, cultural, or health situations financially. Most grants are given for specific projects, or if there are extenuating circumstances, such as wanting to start up a business, but the lack of funds does not accommodate the dream.

Foremost, aid basically refers to the transfer of funds or resources from a particular country to another for the benefit of the receiving end. Aid can take different forms such as International aid, overseas aid, or foreign aid. All these kinds of aid still all remain the same. Aid can be given to one country by another based on several purposes, such as flood relief, strengthening of a nation's military, developing cultural aspects, as a means of reward for good work, building economic situation, and many more.

Not only do countries give aids, individuals, and private organizations too, can give aid. On the other note, grant refers to a kind of fund that is given by one party to another. The funding agents that usually give grants include trusts, the government departments, foundations, and corporations.
