The main difference between the two is the cellular modem that is being used. Their WiFi capabilities are going to be a bit different. The 3G Kindle is usually going to be the choice of people who would like to connect to Whispernet (by Amazon).
The best thing about this is that you will be able to enjoy it as long as you are within coverage if you would be choosing WiFi, then you obviously need this in order to use this properly. When it comes to price, 3G Kindle is going to be a little bit more expensive as compared to the WiFi. If you think that the extra feature is needed, then there is no reason why you should not try this.
