Hypertension and high blood pressure are considered to be the same. The only difference is that you use the term hypertension when you are referring to the medical term of high blood pressure. When people have high blood pressure, there may be various reasons for it.
Some may experience it because they are about to get a heart attack. Some may experience this because they are going through so much, and they cannot keep their emotions in check anymore. A lot of people use these two terms interchangeably, but the fact remains that people should keep their blood pressure within normal range so that they can continue to stay healthy and strong.
