In order to understand this, it is best to know what the different types of motion are. There are three basic types of motion namely rotary, linear, and reciprocating. Out of these types, the best answer to this question is rotary motion because this refers to a type of motion that occurs in a circular manner. This is exactly the type of motion that a merry go round does.

The linear motion refers to the type of motion that people do in a straight line while reciprocating motion is a type of motion that goes back and forth in a straight line. It will be easy to see these other types of motion through the other rides that are available in theme parks.
