There are so many religions in the world. Many were even practiced well before Christianity was founded. Buddhism and Taoism are two examples. One of the major distinctions between the two is that Buddhism originated in India, and Taoism originated from China. Lord Buddha is the originator of Buddhism, while the founder of Taoism is Lao-Tzu. The highest goal of Buddhism is the achievement of Nirvana. This feat is referred to as the supreme state of bliss because, at this stage, we are free from suffering.
There is also freedom from the cycle of birth and death. Buddhists believe that life goes on indefinitely due to rebirth. On the other hand, Taoism consists of the notion that harmony with the universe can be achieved when you are immersed in nature. They also believe that the soul is eternal, and it sees no end. Instead, it goes into another life, and it perpetuates until it reaches the most integral aspect of Taoism, which is reincarnation. With reincarnation, you will come back as something or someone else.
