A lot of people love dogs but there are some dog breeds that may seem similar to each other. The American and English Cocker Spaniel may seem the same in the beginning but you will realize that their sizes are different. The English Cocker Spaniel is going to be a little bit bigger.
The English Cocker Spaniel will also have a longer coat as compared to the American Cocker Spaniel. Most of the Cocker Spaniels that are being shown on shows or in contests are usually groomed properly which is why you may not always see how long their coat can grow.
Since the English Cocker Spaniel is larger, it is also expected to be a bit heavier as compared to the American Cocker Spaniel.
