Most times, teaspoons are the idea cutlery set for measuring the volume of certain materials while cooking. There are other types of cutlery sets that look more like teaspoons; they are; coffee spoons, dessert spoons, and Orange spoons. On the other hand, tablespoons are used mostly to prepare food and also for serving food.
The volume of a tablespoon and a teaspoon is not the same for every country. However, in the United States, the volume of a tablespoon is equivalent to that of three teaspoons. Another difference is that teaspoons are usually denoted with 'tsp' while tablespoons are usually denoted with “Tbsp."
