Women go through many body changes throughout their life. When puberty hits, the first major body change is their period, where the woman will shed a certain amount of blood each month. Period symptoms vary from person to person, but they can range from cramps, fatigue, weight gain, increase or decrease in appetite, migraines, and of course, the bleeding.
If a woman misses their period, it normally means they are pregnant. Though some women are pregnant and still have periods early on. The symptoms of a period and pregnancy can overlap, but a pregnancy grows a bump, and a person may experience morning sickness.
