Women go through many body changes throughout their life. When puberty hits, the first major body change is their period, where the woman will shed a certain amount of blood each month. Period symptoms vary from person to person, but they can range from cramps, fatigue, weight gain, increase or decrease in appetite, migraines, and of course, the bleeding.

If a woman misses their period, it normally means they are pregnant. Though some women are pregnant and still have periods early on. The symptoms of a period and pregnancy can overlap, but a pregnancy grows a bump, and a person may experience morning sickness.

The main difference between a period and pregnancy symptoms is that a period occurs after reaching puberty, while pregnancy symptoms occur during the early stages of pregnancy. A period is when the female body releases tissue that is no longer viable. The tissue comes from the uterus, which is where a baby fetus develops in the female body.

A missed period is a sign that a woman might be pregnant. Many of the symptoms of PMS are similar to the ones that women get during early pregnancy. Morning sickness may also be mistaken for period symptoms. Nausea and vomiting are common with both. Generally, anything that involves hormone difficulty will signify either pregnancy or period symptoms.

The period is explained as the outflowing of the functional layer of the endometrium, which occurs with bleeding after which egg is dead. Pregnancy is defined as a condition of the development of an embryo in a woman's womb. There is a normal feeling of weakness and dizziness during a period, which is a direct result of hormonal fluctuations and anemia.

The symptoms occur in pregnancy because of hormonal fluctuations and blood flow changes of a pregnant woman as a result of uterine growth. Before this period, there is swelling coupled with increased sensitivity in the breasts region, which is due to fluctuations in hormones. The same symptoms occur in the early stage as part of the preparation for the body for the coming.

There is actually no nausea or vomiting during the period, while nausea is regarded as a symptom in most pregnant women. Spasms usually appear throughout pregnancy while it appears for several days during or before the period.
