A student is a person that is enrolled in school to advance their education. College students have the ability to be either part-time or full time. A full-time student is one that is taking on a full workload of school work. It varies by college, but most full-time students are taking four to six classes at a time. A part-time student takes on a significantly less amount of workload. They could be taking one to two classes at a time. Between the two, a full-time student will get closer to finishing their degree than a student that only takes part-time classes.
A full-time student is someone who would have a full workload. It would depend on the country that you are living in. Some would require a certain number of units for every semester to be considered as a full-time student.
Someone who is considered to be a part-time student may be a working student so he/she would need to divide his time between work and school. The student may have a minimum amount of the required units in order to finish the semester for that particular time.
A full-time student may be able to finish his/her studies faster especially if he/she would not fail any subject while a part-time student may be able to finish at his/her own pace.
