Avoidant and schizoid personality are special types of personality most times referred to as a disorder. People with Avoidant personality are referred to as people that are extremely sensitive to rejection and are scared of being rejected.

These people lack social interest, and due to fear of criticism, while Schizoid are people with another special personality, they have more interest in their inner self, the withdrawal from society most times to enjoy their space, they are emotionally cold.

Schizoid can be said to be coldness, apathy, lack of interaction, preferring your own company, being in their world and space, and being happy in it. Mental disorders can have a significant impact on a person well being. It can affect how a person is able to function in their daily life and in relation to other people. Two of those disorders are Avoidant and Schizoid personalities. Both of these disorders impact a person's ability to create relationships.

An Avoidant personality is a person who has the desire to build relations but feels uncertain about doing so. Their insecurity pops in, and they feel that the people who they want to build a relationship with will reject them. A person with a schizoid personality does not see the value to build a relationship because they feel the relationship will not lead to anything meaningful.

There are a lot of times wherein people do not know the differences between the different disorders. Someone who has schizoid personality disorder will not have the ability to create relationships with other people because they sometimes feel that they will not be able to create meaningful relationships with these people anyway.

They may also not have the capacity to provide what people are searching for. Those who have avoidant personality disorder would like to build relationships with other people but they sometimes feel a bit unsure because of the possibility that they will be rejected by the people that they want to build relationships with. They know that they will not be able to handle shame too well too.
