Fur and leather are popular materials that are known for many years. These are materials that are used in the production of clothes and apparels.

Leathers are strong materials; it is made from decomposed animal skin, especially cattle. There are several forms of leathers, which include mainly vegetable -tanned leather, chrome -tanned leather, white leather, synthetic -tanned leather, aldehyde -tanned leather.

Leather material has faced a lot of criticism because of the tanning chemicals causes pollution, the dehairing also causes pollution and also the indiscriminate killing of cattle.

The fur is usually obtained from mammalian animals that have a large amount of hair on their bodies. The common source of fur is gotten from rabbits, possums, cats, and dogs, and other animals. The fur is obtained from two major layers, which are guard hair or down hair.

Fur and leather are known to be two types of materials that usually come from animals. The fur usually comes from the hair of the animal, while the leather will come from the animal’s skin. There are some specific animals that are usually being killed for their skin or their fur, although there are a lot of activists right now that are trying to put a stop to this, especially with the use of animal fur.

They feel that this is very inhumane. People usually have different views and opinions about this fact, especially those who have very strong feelings about this issue.
