Xenon, also known as HID (High-Intensity Discharge), is 300 times brighter than Halogen. Xenon produces a clean white light than a 55w halogen bulb. Xenon last ten times longer than Halogen. Xenon headlights are clear blue, while halogen headlight is a yellow-orange color.

Halogen requires less energy for a startup while Xenon requires more energy and, they both need more energy to keep going. Halogen installation is easy and straightforward while installing xenon requires more skill. Halogen comes in full brightness immediately. They are turned on, while xenon takes a few seconds to show its full brightness.
