It can be a bit challenging to tell the difference between the word “move” and “copy” because they are computer commands that pop up when you click something. Copy and move are computer commands that are useful and saves time and energy when working. Both of these commands can be assessed from the toolbar or can be assessed by highlighting and right-clicking.

A “move” can be defined as the process in which the user wants to take something from one place on the PC to another. The shortcut for a move is control and F7. Moving involves transferring the original file to another new location. A copy can be defined as the process in which a user desires to make an exact file or piece text and place it in another area. The shortcut for copying is control and "C" (Ctrl + C). Copying of files or document helps us to have a duplicate of a file in another location.

The move is something that you would do when you want to get a file and move it to another place. It can be located in another folder, and you would like to place it in another folder easily. A copy is known to be another thing that you can do when you would like to have a replica of the same file to be placed in another folder.

For example, you would like the same file to be in another folder without having to remove that same file from a particular folder; you will definitely use a copy for that. There are instances when you would need to have copies especially if you feel that another folder may be in danger of being deleted. A lot of digital files now can easily be moved or deleted.
