On the first day in the month of May, the Government of the nation of India made another step of extending the nationwide lockdown further by adding two weeks more to the weeks of lockdown, which means the nation would be on total lockdown until the 17th of May.
The Government then divided the entire nation of India into three different zones: the green zone, the red zone, and the orange zones, with relaxations applied accordingly. It could be recalled that the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, has previously declared a 21-day total lockdown for the inhabitants of the nation of India as a way of containing the pandemic, coronavirus.
A lot of people advocated for the easing of lockdown, in which was a suicidal attempt as the numbers kept on increasing in some cities in India, so in response to the initial 21 days of total lockdown ending. The government decided to add another two weeks to the lockdown.
