Business is what makes a difference in this world, may that be for good or bad and that's what I love about that.

As of March 24, which was a day before the first phase of lockdown was placed, there were 564 active coronavirus cases in India. Also, before the lockdown was placed, a total number of ten deaths were recorded. The possible increase in the number of coronavirus cases in India was the reason why the lockdown was placed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

We can simply conclude that the lockdown within this period didn't achieve so much as the coronavirus cases jumped from 564 to above 10000 within the period of the 21 days of the first phase of the lockdown. Currently, the coronavirus cases in India have further risen to 40000.

There is no doubt; the lockdown, which is still ongoing, is having a negative impact on so many people. Apart from the fact that people are struggling to eat, millions of people who were employed before the lockdown came into effect have lost their jobs.

The correct answer to this question is 500. Though this number is low compared to their one billion population, the Prime Minister of India felt it was necessary to take these early precautions to lower the number of cases that would impact their country.

The lockdown seemed to have the results he wanted, for there was a dip in numbers that occurred. Instead of the rate doubling every six days, the rate only doubled every eight days, which was a decrease. Though they are currently in Phase 2 of the lockdown, the country is slowly starting to reopen as their numbers go down.
