Business is what makes a difference in this world, may that be for good or bad and that's what I love about that.

If we decide to look at it from one angle, I think the lockdown in India has really helped the country curb the spread of the virus, although the total number of the recorded cases is now above 40,000. However, looking at the population of India and the weak public health of India, the introduction of a national lockdown has really helped the country from having the same problems being faced in countries like Spain, Italy, the USA, etc.

However, the implication of the lockdown on the economic activities of India is another thing to talk about. During this period of lockdown, a lot of companies have been closed, many businesses have crumbled, and this has left millions of people jobless. Another impact of this lockdown is that people are struggling to eat.

The effect of this might lead to different kinds of health issues. However, the negative impact of this on the Indian economy has forced the government to relax the lockdown a little bit so as to prevent the country from further being thrown into a serious economic quagmire.

COVID-19 has spread across the country and is affecting everyone in one way or another. While every country is handling it differently, it appears that those who took stricter restrictions have had fewer cases and deaths. One of those countries in India. When their country only had 500 cases, the Prime Minister implemented a lockdown.

One of the effects of the lockdown is that the rate of the cases doubled decreased. It went from every six days to every eight days. Along with that, the lockdown had a positive effect on the rivers, which became cleaner. The demand for electricity in the country also went down.
