White noise and pink noise are types of sound. White noise is a type of sound that maintains equal energy in low frequency, midrange frequency, and at a high frequency, just like the white light. White noise is a statistical model for signals and signal sources. The white sound can be compared with the sound of a waterfall. White noise contains different colors and all frequency.

White noise can be used to mask sounds. Pink noise is also a type of sound that does not maintain equal energy at a different frequency. At low frequency, the pink noise is louder and softer at the high end; its energy reduces as the frequency increases. Pink noise can also be used to mask the sound.

Noise is established by the frequency with which we hear it, and white and pink noise differ in their frequency. White noise can be like white having equal energy for every cycle. It provides a flat frequency in linear space, which means that the signal will be powerful no matter where it is in the area. Pink noise gives out a flat frequency in logarithmic space, and this type of noise also possesses the same power in correspondingly wide bands.

In pink noise, the sounds of lower rates are louder, and white and pink noise is also used to mask sounds. Pink noise gives more emphasis to lower frequencies. White noise contains all frequencies and colors. It has been associated with the sound of ocean waves or rainfall.

White noise can be defined as a type of sound with equal intensity at all frequencies. White noise is just like white light which has an equal intensity across all visible light. White noise is mostly generated by creating sound across the whole sound spectrum. Another important piece of information about white noise is that its signal always has the same power across all frequencies. This is because it is capable of producing a flat frequency in linear space. Unlike white noise that has equal across all frequencies, pink noise only has equal power at every octave.

Another difference between white noise and pink noise is that pink noise does not have equal power at every frequency. Its power decreases as the frequency increases. This is why, in pink noise, the lower frequencies are louder compared to the higher frequencies. Also, the power of the higher frequencies in pink noise is lower than that of lower frequencies.
