Bulldog and pit bull dogs are different breeds of dogs. Bulldog is a loyal and friendly animal; they relate well with other pets. However, their hard looks make them look scary. The female bulldog is smaller than the male bulldog, they have a broad and black nose, dark eye circles, wide nostrils, large cheek reaches, and they come in different colors such as pale yellow, brindle, red, washed red or fawn. Their life span is about 10 to 15 years.

The pit bulldogs are the most popular and domesticated dogs; these dogs are known for their temperament. However, they are friendly, intelligent, and loyal to their owners. They are about 18 to 21 inches tall and weigh 15 to 40 kilograms. Their eyes are round and small ears, with different colors. Their lifespan is 14 years.

The American Bulldogs height is between 24 to 27 inches, whereas Pitbull’s come in heights between 18 to 21 inches. In weight, the American bulldog has the edge over pit bull. The American bulldog weighs 85 to 140 lbs., and the pit bull has just 40 to 60 lbs in weight. The pit bull has a powerful body, but they are not as heavy. On the contrary, the American bulldog is more powerful, and they have a large chest and head.

The pitbull has almost a block-shaped head with a rounded tip towards the nose. On the other hand, the American bulldog possesses a box-shaped head. The pitbull was first made by mixing bulldogs and terriers, while the American bulldogs are known to have originated from Old English bulldogs.
