Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are two of the games associated with the animated franchise Pokemon. One of the main differences between them is related to time. The time of these games is 12 hours apart. Pokemon Sun correlates to the player's real-time zone. For example, if the player is playing at noon EST, Pokemon Sun will reflect that time. Pokemon Moon will be 12 hours from that time. Another difference between the two games is related to Totem Pokemon. Depending on the game, the player will experience the Pokemon in different parts of the game. In Pokemon Sun, it is at Gumshoos, while Pokemon Moon is an Alolan Raticate.

Pokémon Sun and Moon are role-playing games with adventure elements, and it is presented in the third-person perspective. The journey takes place in Alola, and a Pokémon trainer goes on an adventure. Both games are very similar, but there are different bad guys to beat and a sight differentiation in storytelling.

The game includes a new updated Pokémon bank and more communication functions for the battle format through link battles. You will see many stars and moons when playing Pokémon moon, while the Pokémon Sun takes place mostly during the day when the sun is up.

In the game, there are powerful characters called legendary, and both games have different legendary characters. One legendary character is called Solgaleo, who is the guardian deity of Pokémon sun. In the other game, the character Lunala who is the guardian deity of Pokémon moon shines like the crescent moon.
