The general consensus regarding cannabis is growing more positive every year. This is leading people to learn about the variety of cannabis concentrates that are offered. Two of those concentrates are wax and shatter. One of the differences between them is how they are made. Shatter is much harder to make. It is harder to make than wax because the molecules must be tightly bonded together. Another difference between the two is the length of time they will last. Shatter lasts longer because it has a chemical composition. Wax is known to be quick to lose the potency that it offers.

Since the legalization of marijuana in many states, there have been several different inventions and concoctions of this medicine. Two popular examples include wax and shatter. Both have high concentrations of THC, which can be helpful for those who suffer from pain. With wax, the molecules of this oil mature to and form a buttery appearance.

This buttery substance is referred to as wax, and it comes in many different textures, including soft to medium to hard. The hard ones are referred to as honeycombs. Shatter is a transparent pot extract, which is said to be the purest form available.

The potency, texture, and uniformity all play an integral role in the classification of this extract. When the molecules are not disconcerted, it results in a clear glassy product. The oil extracts that align within the texture grouping of “glassy” are also referred to as “pull and snap.”
