Some people usually think that a publisher and an editor are the same but actually, they are a bit different. When you say publisher, this refers to the organization that will be in charge of publishing the book or the article. The organization will be in charge of the release of books. The editor, on the other hand, will be the individual who will be talking directly with different authors.

The editor will be in charge of providing reminders that are needed by the author so that they will stay on track. The editor will also be in charge of doing some edits alongside the author so that the documents or the books can be perfect for printing.
