Vainglory and pride are not known to be two types of traits that are not exactly considered to be good. People who are known to have this trait are known to be super vain. This means that they make an effort to look good at all times even when it is not appropriate anymore or there is no point in putting their vanity first. There are some people who may become hassled just because a person has this trait. Excessive pride can then stem from having vainglory.

A person may become too proud of how he/she looks like she would flaunt it to every person that he knows. Sometimes these traits can cause the contempt of other people.
