Plastic is a semi-artificial or synthetic material which is mainly manufactured for industrial use. The physical attributes of plastics are different since their specific components or the polymer composition (which is primarily a combination of hydrogen and carbon). This variable determines the hardness, heat resistance, and imperviousness to other matters. Glass, on the other hand, is not malleable at all, most especially when it is already in its finished product form.
Plastics are materials that are so versatile because they have undoubtedly replaced all other materials, including wood, metal and even glass. They have become the standard for packaging, maybe because it is light in weight and that it can be disposed of easily. Glass is however, an easily breakable or brittle material compared to plastic, which is tougher. Glass is heavier material compared to plastic materials. Plastics materials are more malleable when compared to the solid glass material.
