Although creativity and innovation are related in some ways, there are still some differences between the two. Creativity simply refers to the ability to use one's imagination to create a new idea or product. Creativity is when you put your thinking at work to produce ideas or products.

Although innovation usually starts with ideas, it is however, the process that helps convert our ideas and thought into something that can be felt and used. Every new innovation would have been first conceived in mind before converting them into something that can be used.

Creativity is used mostly to describe ideas or concepts that are new to people, while innovation can be used to describe any improvement made on any existing products so that they can be used for other purposes. Creativity is usually influenced by experience, while innovation is the implementation of ideas to create something new. Creativity comes from the Latin word "Creo," while innovation comes from the Latin word "Innovation".
