The correct answer to this question is 39.37 inches. Meters and inches are important because they are standard units of measurements. The inch is the most basic unit used, but there are times when a person may need a measurement in meters. If this is the case, then one can convert the unit they received in inches to the unit of meters.

These units of measurements have been around for centuries. Meters have been used since the 1700s when it was created by the French. Over time, the United States Congress implemented it and inches as to be used as the custom lengths of measurement.

If you would say “meter” in the UK, they will immediately know what you are talking about. This is the type of measurement that they use for their different items. If you would go to other places wherein the metric system is a bit different, there may be some changes that you have to do.

It will help if you know how to transpose meter into feet and inches. If you tried to equate one meter to feet, you would get 3.281 feet. This means that one meter is equal to 3.281 feet. If you equated one meter to feet and inches, it would be 3 feet and 3.37 inches.

One meter is actually equal to three feet. If you would like to measure one meter in inches, it would be 3.3700787 inches. It can be confusing to know how to convert the different measurements. What you can do is to measure meters to feet first by multiplying it with 3.2808399.

Then the number that you will get will be the changed measurement from the meter to feet. One foot would be equal to 0.3048 meters. There are some people who are more used to measuring in feet while there are also others who would rather measure in meters. It would depend on where you are from and what type of metric system you normally use.

The United States customary units are sometimes called "standard units." This standard is based on feet and inches. The inch is the basic unit in United States measurement. Longer rulers, which are 3 feet, or 36 inches long, are called yardsticks. A meter in feet is approximately 3'3.7 inches.

The standard meter originated in 1790 by the French. It is realistically characterized by the distance between two marks on an iron bar kept in Paris. The United States congress legalized the use of the metric system in 1866. The inch, foot, and yard are also the United States customary units of length.
