Baking paper and wax paper are items that are normally being used in the kitchen. Baking paper, from its name, is obviously being used in baking. It will have the tendency to resist heat more, which can make it very ideal when you are trying your best to make sure that what you are baking will not stick to the pan.

It can also make cleanup a breeze. Wax paper, on the other hand, is also used in the kitchen often, but it will not be able to withstand the heat of baking. It will be used to wrap different food products because it will be able to keep the heat inside and allow food to stay fresh for a longer period of time.
