Science refers to the body of knowledge or the collective discipline of learning or study acquired through scientific processes. Science strives to explore the natural and physical world in a bid to give explanations to some things. Science does not boast of complete knowledge about anything, which is why there are different scientific processes ongoing, in a bid to disapprove existing facts and to write new ones.
Science allows people to ask questions. For instance, science is always interested in why certain natural phenomena are happening. Engineering, on the other hand, deals with the application of knowledge to build, design a product that will benefit humanity.
While science is all about discovery, engineering refers to the application of physical sciences for the development of technology. The goal of engineering is to help humans solve their problems, while science is more concerned about exploring the world. Although they have different goals, both fields are very important.
